In Hamburg-Harvestehude we are looking for a warm-hearted and committed carer / senior care (m/f/d) (25?35 hours/week). The couple to be cared for live in a retirement home, but enjoy spending their days in their beautiful old flat in Winterhude.
We are looking for someone who is not only reliable and responsible, but above all someone who will support the couple in their everyday lives with heart, sensitivity and love.
Your tasks:
- Elderly care
- Driving services, including drop-off and pick-up journeys
- Shopping, cooking and menu planning
- Providing assistance and companionship
- Accompaniment on daily walks
- Support with personal hygiene
A respectful, attentive and friendly manner is just as important for this position as a sense of responsibility in day-to-day activities. The couple would like someone who can help them in their everyday lives, whether it's on walks around the Alster, on excursions or just a nice chat over a cup of tea.
The couple attaches great importance to freshly prepared meals that are cooked with dedication. A healthy and balanced diet that is tailored to the needs of older people is important. It would be especially nice if you enjoy providing loving rituals in everyday life. Sometimes you will also be required to provide transport services, for example to the doctor or for errands.
A well-groomed appearance, a friendly nature and a heart in the right place are the key to gaining the trust of the elderly couple and becoming a mainstay in their everyday lives. If you are active and life-affirming, enjoy taking on responsibility and are characterised by your meticulous way of working, you will certainly feel very much at home in this environment.
The household is non-smoking. A class B driving licence is required.
