In the centre of the charming and green district of Hamburg-Othmarschen, we are looking for an experienced and responsible housekeeper to run an upscale private household with passion and professionalism (40 hours/week). If you enjoy working in an elegant villa and demonstrating your extensive housekeeping skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Your tasks:
- General household organisation
- Keep order
- Furniture care
- Textile care
- Cooking
- Dog care
- Instructions for domestic help
- Coordination of service providers
- Supervision of craftsmen
The lady to be cared for attaches great importance to discretion and a cultivated ambience. Your future area of responsibility will cover the entire spectrum of housekeeping. You will be actively supported by a domestic help, who will be present three times a week, as well as a housekeeper, whose many years of experience and knowledge of the household will provide you with valuable support. A gardener takes care of the extensive garden so that you can concentrate fully on the interior of the house.
You will not only be responsible for the general organisation and coordination of the household, but also for the care of high-quality wardrobe and valuable furniture. You will also be expected to look after the house when the lady of the house is absent and ensure security and order. Occasionally guests are welcome in the house, here you support with your experience in service and catering, from small delicacies to dinner parties for 6 to 8 people.
Culinary skills are also particularly appreciated as occasional cooking will be part of your duties. A loving Labrador is also part of the family and will expect some of your attention.
Ideally, you will have several years' experience in a similar position and be able to provide appropriate references. A full-time position with a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday is offered, whereby flexibility and non-smoker status are required.
