A competent and loving nanny / child carer (m/f/d) (40 hrs/week) is needed in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The young, warm-hearted, international academic family is looking forward to an experienced carer who will organise everyday life with their five-month-old baby with sensitivity and commitment. A carer who provides stability, security and a nurturing environment is particularly important to them. The family communicates mainly in English, so appropriate language skills are required.
Your tasks:
- Age-appropriate promotion
- Child-friendly food preparation (vegan)
- Tidy up the playroom/children's room
- Leisure activities
- Accompaniment to activities
- Travelling companion
- Evening supervision with guest room for overnight stay if required
- Organise everything for the baby (e.g. nappy supply)
- Communication with the mother in English or Turkish
Their everyday life is varied: they accompany the child with patience and joy through its first months of life, organise age-appropriate activities and ensure a familiar, cheerful atmosphere. In addition to the playful encouragement of the baby, the parents attach particular importance to a fresh, healthy and vegan diet that is prepared in a child-friendly way.
You will also assist with small everyday household tasks by keeping the children's areas tidy. Occasional travelling companions and evening care are welcome, and you will always have a guest room at your disposal.
What you should bring with you:
The family is looking for a competent, independent and responsible nanny with experience in infant care. You work lovingly, discreetly and reliably, have a well-groomed appearance and are polite and reserved. A confident and empathetic approach to children is a matter of course for you. Language skills in English or Turkish are necessary to communicate smoothly in everyday life.
