A warm and open-minded family in Berlin-Grunewald is looking for a dedicated housekeeper (m/f/d) (40 hours/week) to support them in their exclusive, listed home. The stately villa, lovingly renovated, is occupied by an entrepreneurial family with two sons (6 and 15 years old). A friendly Hovawart dog is also part of the household. As the future centrepiece of the household, you will look after the prestigious premises with care and an eye for detail.
Your tasks:
- Basic cleaning
- Room maintenance
- Furniture care
- Keep order
- Laundry care (bed linen goes out of the house)
- Care of high-quality textiles
- Ironing
- Knowledge of materials (brass fittings, marble bathrooms, historic parquet flooring)
- Shoe care
- Silver care
- Beverage orders
- Device maintenance
- Tidiness in the children's room
In your varied daily routine, you will ensure cleanliness and structure throughout the building and pay particular attention to the care of sensitive materials. A lift is available to make your work easier and to make caring for the premises more convenient. Occasionally you will also lovingly look after the dog and help organise the children's rooms so that there is always a welcoming and tidy atmosphere for the young members of the family.
You will work hand in hand with other household staff, including a cook, a gardener, a caretaker and a domestic help. Your competent and open-minded manner will enable you to work smoothly with the other staff and ensure a well-maintained and harmonious household.
