In Hamburg-Nienstedten we are looking for an experienced cook (m/f/d) (25 hours/week) part-time, who takes over the culinary care of an exclusive villa household with joy, passion and high professional competence. The lady lives in a stylish villa whose active and well-structured everyday life requires a high degree of organisation and discretion. We are looking for a committed personality with a keen sense of healthy eating and a high standard of quality to enrich the household.
Your tasks:
- Menu planning
- Purchasing
- Stockpiling
- Cooking
- Coordination of service providers
- Supervision of craftsmen
- Overview of incoming invoices
The lady attaches great importance to a modern, healthy and balanced diet ? seasonal, organic, high-protein, low-fat and low-carb are fixed components of the menu. Her task is to create dishes that are both varied and rich in nutrients to suit her active lifestyle and individual dietary requirements. A keen sense of flavour, freshness and aesthetics is just as important as a sound knowledge of food and its careful preparation. It would be especially nice if you enjoyed catering for guests. The spectrum is broad: from a simple barbecue to a sit-down meal for 6 to 8 people.
In addition to the daily art of cooking, you will also be responsible for planning the weekly meal plan and stockpiling. You will organise purchases efficiently and responsibly, pay attention to sustainability and regional products and manage the kitchen with an overview, hygiene and structure.
Working closely with the manager, you will keep track of external service providers and coordinate tradesmen's appointments as required. A good eye for detail and a confident manner in an upmarket environment are particularly important here. Careful tracking of incoming invoices is also part of your area of responsibility.
We are looking for a person with professional experience in a private household or upscale gastronomy, who works in a structured manner, likes to organise themselves independently and enjoys working in an exclusive environment. Discretion, a well-groomed appearance and loyalty are just as important as reliability and sensitivity in dealing with the resident and her guests.
