An experienced cook (m/f/d) (25 hours per week) is sought in Hamburg-Nienstedten to take charge of the culinary needs of an exclusive villa household with enthusiasm, passion and a high level of professional expertise. The lady lives in a stylish villa, where the busy and well-structured daily routine requires a high degree of organisation and discretion. We are looking for a dedicated individual who will enrich the household with a keen sense of healthy eating and high standards of quality.

• Menu planning
• Purchasing
• Stockpiling
• Cooking
• Coordination of service providers
• Supervision of craftsmen
• Overview of Incoming Invoices

The lady attaches great importance to a modern, healthy and balanced diet – seasonal, organic, high-protein, low-fat and low-carb foods are a regular feature of her meals. Her role is to create varied yet nutrient-rich dishes that suit the lady of the house’s active lifestyle and individual dietary requirements. A keen sense of taste, freshness and aesthetics is just as essential as a sound knowledge of food and how to prepare it gently. It would be particularly nice if you enjoyed entertaining guests. The scope of this role is wide-ranging: from a simple barbecue to a sit-down meal for 6 to 8 people.

As well as preparing meals on a daily basis, your duties will also include independently planning the weekly menu and managing the larder. You will organise shopping efficiently and responsibly, prioritising sustainability and regional produce, and run the kitchen with a clear overview, maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation.

Working closely with the manager, you will oversee external service providers and coordinate appointments with tradespeople as required. A keen eye for detail and a confident manner in an upmarket setting are particularly important here. Carefully tracking incoming invoices will also form part of your responsibilities.

We are seeking an individual with professional experience in private households or upmarket catering, who works in a structured manner, enjoys organising themselves independently and takes pleasure in working in an exclusive environment. Discretion, a well-groomed appearance and loyalty are just as essential as reliability and tact when dealing with the resident and her guests.
