We are looking for an experienced and discreet butler (m/f/d) (40 hrs/week) for a structured and well-kept castle household near Graz, Austria. The household consists mainly of three people and is inhabited by an entrepreneurial family. The lovingly renovated castle requires a responsible and reliable person who will take over the household organisation with passion and care and look after the master of the house attentively and discreetly.

Your tasks:

• Organisation of the household
• Coordination and supervision of other employees such as cleaning staff, housekeeper, chauffeur and cook
• Guidance and support for housekeeping staff
• Role model function within the household staff
• Welcoming and receiving guests
• Covering
• Preparation of breakfast
• Service at the table
• Shoe care
• Ironing the host's wardrobe
• Suitcase packing
• Turndown Service
• And much more

In this demanding castle household, you will work closely with a team of housekeepers, an assistant butler, a chauffeur and a cook. Your main task will be to manage and coordinate this staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the entire household. You are the first point of contact for the family's wishes and act as the right hand of the head of the family. You will fulfil all requests, especially those of the head of the household, discreetly and reliably.

Travelling companions are only required to a very limited extent for this position.

As the previous incumbent will be taking his well-deserved retirement at the end of the year, he will still be available for an extensive familiarisation period.
