For a large, idyllic estate north of Hamburg, we are looking for a dedicated full-time housekeeper couple (m/f/d) to join the team. The extensive, partly wooded property with a small lake and numerous animals (e.g. dogs, cats, chickens, nandus, peacocks, donkeys, pigs, ducks and fallow deer) requires loving, but also hands-on support.

Your tasks:

• Gardening and grounds maintenance (male part)
• Small repairs (male part)
• Complete housekeeping (female part)
• Textile care incl. ironing (female part)
• Cooking (female part)
• Purchasing (female part)
• Support with pet care and animal care

As a pair of housekeepers, you will share the various tasks around the rural property. Together with a colleague, the male partner is mainly responsible for the care and maintenance of the extensive property. You have manual skills and are responsible for any minor repairs. A female animal keeper is primarily responsible for looking after the animals, but is always happy to lend a helping hand. The seven dogs, all different in character and breed, require sensitive and expert care, which you will provide with joy and understanding.

The female partner takes care of all the housework. You will ensure that this large two-person household is clean and tidy and will be responsible for thorough cleaning, textile care and ironing. You will use your cooking skills every day to provide the family and employees with a simple but delicious lunch. You will also be responsible for shopping and stocking up. You are the good soul of the house and contribute significantly to a well-kept and cosy home.

They are both down-to-earth, hands-on and don't shy away from physical labour. You feel at home in a rural environment and know how important personal commitment is for the well-being of the house and animals. Your independent, conscientious way of working makes you indispensable helpers on the estate.
