A child-friendly housekeeper (m/f/d) (40 hours per week) is sought in Hamburg-Rotherbaum. The family of four lives in a fully refurbished historic villa and is looking for a reliable, organised and empathetic person who will manage the household with care, a clear overview and a cheerful attitude, and who will help ease the burden of everyday family life.

Your tasks:

• General household organisation
• Keep order
• Basic, maintenance and visual cleaning
• Laundry care
• Ironing
• Purchasing
• Cooking
• Child care services

We are looking for a housekeeper who can manage this high-end household independently and with a good sense of organisation. This includes thorough deep cleaning, keeping the house tidy at all times, and laundry and ironing. Shopping is also part of your remit, as is preparing healthy, family-friendly meals, preferably following recipes.

The family lives in a beautiful home with their infant son and their charming three-year-old daughter. A love of children is therefore particularly important for this role. In day-to-day life, you will also take on tasks relating to the children as the situation requires, in particular looking after the baby with care whilst the mother collects her older daughter from nursery. The parents are looking for someone with a natural warmth, a calm demeanour and a keen sense of young children’s needs.

As well as an eye for cleanliness and tidiness, reliability, a sense of personal responsibility and a structured approach to work are highly valued. If you enjoy working in a young, upmarket family setting and contributing to everyone’s well-being with care and dedication, this role offers a very pleasant and supportive working environment. A driving licence is an advantage, but not a requirement. If you’d also like to accompany the family on occasional trips, this is welcome, but by no means a must. The destinations are the family’s holiday homes on Sylt and in France.
