A child-friendly housekeeper (m/f/d) (20 hours per week) is sought in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. This friendly family is looking for a caring and reliable person to help with household tasks, with a particular focus on looking after their sons.

Your tasks:

• Child care services
• Basic, maintenance and visual cleaning
• Cooking
• Purchasing
• Keep order
• Laundry service, including ironing (if required)
• Garden maintenance

We are looking for a caring, proactive person who will take responsibility for both looking after the sons (aged 5, 14 and 18) and managing the household. The day starts at 2.00 pm and begins with the morning routine. For the first two hours, the focus is on household chores until you collect the youngest son from nursery at 4.00 pm. You will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning the bathrooms and floors, as well as for laundry, including ironing – for example, tablecloths – although this will only be required as and when needed. A clear overview and a conscientious approach to your work are particularly important here. You will also be responsible for shopping and preparing healthy meals. Watering plants and providing light assistance with outdoor tasks round off the role. The family is looking for someone who can anticipate needs and act proactively. Given the scope of the domestic tasks and the limited daily working hours, these will be sensibly prioritised and allocated across the individual days of the week. This ensures that all necessary tasks can be carried out in a structured and careful manner. Another important aspect of this role is providing loving care for the children. You will collect the youngest son from the nearby nursery, which is within walking distance. The family would like the afternoons to be organised creatively, actively involving the 14-year-old son as well, provided he is at home. A warm and attentive approach to the children is particularly important to the family. The working day ends at 6.00 pm.
