A child-friendly domestic helper (m/f/d) (20 hours per week) is sought in Hamburg-Uhlenhorst. This lively family of seven lives in a beautiful 185m² flat in a historic building and is looking for a caring, independent person who enjoys helping out with the housework.

Your tasks:

• Basic, maintenance and visual cleaning
• Laundry care
• Ironing
• Keep order
• Create structures
• Window cleaning (visible marks)

We are looking for a proactive and positive person who enjoys being part of a cheerful family life whilst keeping everything organised. The family includes triplets aged 19 months – two girls and a boy – as well as a son (aged 5) and a daughter (aged 7). Accordingly, a caring and thoughtful approach to the needs of this large family is particularly important. A nanny is already in place and supports the family in their lively daily life with the children.

Your working day begins at 9.00 am and starts with the morning round. After that, you will take care of cleaning the bathrooms and floors with great attention to detail and assist with general housekeeping tasks, such as organising and tidying areas like corridors or cloakrooms to ensure they remain tidy at all times. Laundry is also part of your remit. You make the beds once a week, whilst ironing is only required occasionally. A window cleaner takes care of the basic cleaning of the windows. However, you have an eye for detail and remove any small visible smudges, ensuring the windows remain spotless at all times. Particularly in summer, the family would like your help on the balcony. You will wipe down surfaces and balcony furniture. In the playroom and children’s bedroom, the family values a consistent level of tidiness, which makes everyday life easier. This role is particularly well-suited to you if you are proactive, work independently and have a good sense of what is needed in the household at any given time.
