We are looking for an experienced and trustworthy individual to work as a housekeeper (m/f/d) (20 hours per week) for a sophisticated private household. We are looking for someone who can help ensure the house is well looked after, bringing a calm demeanour, a good overview of the household and a keen eye for tidiness.

The focus of this role is on the independent organisation and attentive management of the household. The aim is to ensure a consistently high standard of tidiness and cleanliness, whilst at the same time maintaining systems – with a keen eye for detail – that make everyday life noticeably easier. It is particularly important to have someone who recognises what needs to be done without needing to be told everything, and who works with care, reliability and natural prudence.

Another key part of the role involves cooking and baking, roughly three days a week. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys preparing meals with care and who has a keen eye for quality and a good grasp of household management. In addition, you will be responsible for shopping and running small errands, as well as taking care of all laundry – from washing and ironing to carefully folding and putting it away.

In addition, you will provide organisational support to the household by keeping track of tradespeople’s appointments and coordinating the work of existing support staff in a friendly and confident manner. There are two cleaners working in the household, and you will be required to oversee their work to ensure a harmonious overall result. This role requires the ability to work as part of a team, tact, discretion and a pleasant, calm manner.

We are looking for someone with a driving licence and confident driving experience, who is also happy to cover short distances by bicycle. A car can be provided for shopping and running errands. Equally important is a relaxed attitude towards animals, as small dogs and horses are part of the household. If you are discreet, trustworthy and able to work independently, and if you enjoy helping to run a demanding household, this position offers a very pleasant and long-term working environment.

The role is initially planned to be around 20 hours per week, usually in the mornings between approximately 08:00/09:00 and 12:00/13:00. Adjustments to these hours are possible by mutual agreement. Should it become apparent over time that an increase in hours would be beneficial, the role can be expanded under suitable conditions.
