A child-friendly housekeeper (m/f/d) (35 hours per week) is sought in Hamburg-Nienstedten. This young, loving family lives in a modern house of around 200 m² and is looking for reliable support to make their daily lives noticeably easier, with a calm and thoughtful approach and a keen eye for tidiness and cleanliness.

Your tasks:

The focus is on looking after the home, so that all family members feel comfortable in a tidy, well-maintained home. This includes thoroughly cleaning the bathrooms and floors, keeping the rooms tidy on an ongoing basis, and taking meticulous care of the laundry, including ironing, so that everything is in its place and the household runs smoothly. It is particularly important to the family to have a prudent, reliable person who manages the household independently and regards the cleanliness and upkeep of the premises as a personal responsibility. Your working day starts at 7 am: you prepare the lunchboxes for school and whip up a lovely breakfast. This is followed by the first morning round, during which you put the washing on and get an initial overview of the tasks ahead. To ensure a clear structure to the week, Mondays and Thursdays are designated focus days, when you will devote yourself to the thorough cleaning of bathrooms and floors. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you will carry out the other household tasks that arise, ensuring the home remains well-maintained and organised at all times. The family enjoys having lunch together at around 2 pm and would be delighted if you were happy to take charge of preparing the meal. All cooking is strictly gluten-free, as the eldest son has a gluten intolerance. The mother takes care of shopping for gluten-free products. The family would appreciate your help with other shopping trips, so a driving licence is essential. A car will be made available for running errands. If you enjoy cooking fresh meals and, of course, can cater for special dietary requirements, you’ll be a great fit for the family. In addition, there are minor tasks to be carried out as and when required, such as occasionally looking after the playful dog (a Labradoodle), watering the flowers and doing some light maintenance on the patio to ensure the outdoor area is kept tidy.
