A professional housekeeper (m/f/d) (40 hours per week) is sought in Hamburg-Nienstedten. The family, who have three children, live in an exclusive villa and are looking for an experienced, independent individual who can ensure the home is well looked after in every respect, demonstrating a broad overview, discretion and organisational skills.

Your tasks:

• General household organisation
• Keep order
• Cleaning
• Textile care
• Ironing
• Errands
• Coordination of service providers
• Supervision of craftsmen
• Transport services
• Instructions for domestic help

The role centres on forward-looking budget management, in which you will organise your work independently and set priorities with confidence. You will be responsible for ensuring that internal processes run smoothly and, with a keen eye for detail, you will ensure consistently high standards of quality and cleanliness, as well as a pleasant living environment.

Another key aspect of the role is laundry care, including ironing, which requires attention to detail, knowledge of fabrics and a high standard of care for the wardrobe. Running errands is also part of the day-to-day work and you will carry these out reliably and efficiently. A car is provided for business travel; a driving licence is therefore required.

The family values good organisation and would appreciate it if you could coordinate external service providers, keep track of appointments and, where necessary, supervise tradespeople in the house, ensuring that work is carried out professionally and completed to a high standard. You will also be expected to take on a certain amount of staff management: you will be supported in carrying out your duties by a part-time domestic helper and a caretaker/gardener.

From time to time, support is required in the form of transport for the children. If you enjoy cooking, the family would appreciate fresh, child-friendly meals – though this is not a requirement. What is essential is that you are organised, experienced and able to work independently, and that your calm manner allows you to fit in well within an exclusive, family-oriented environment.
