A child-friendly housekeeper (m/f/d) (25–30 hours per week) is sought in Hamburg-Alsterdorf. This young, friendly family lives in a modern, recently refurbished red-brick house of approximately 270 m² and is looking for a reliable helper who can independently ensure a tidy, well-organised home whilst lovingly supporting the family’s daily life with two charming children (daughter aged 3, son aged 1).

Your tasks:

Your day begins at 7.00 am and starts with providing loving care in the morning: you help the children get dressed, apply sun cream and prepare breakfast and their lunchboxes for the nursery. From 8.30 am, when the children are dropped off at the nursery by their parents, you’ll devote yourself with dedication and care to the various household tasks. Once a week, a cleaner will assist you with deep-cleaning the bathrooms and floors, so that you can focus on day-to-day upkeep and the family’s wellbeing. Your duties include daily cleaning, as well as tidying up and keeping the premises neat and tidy. Laundry is also part of the role, including folding and putting it away. There is a small amount of ironing involved, but this should be a task you are comfortable with and can carry out routinely. You will assist the family with shopping and running errands, thereby making their daily lives easier. You’ll have the option to make flexible use of the REWE shopping service. When it comes to cooking, the family would particularly like help with breakfast and with preparing or assisting with meals based on HelloFresh. If you can cook, you’re also welcome to cook whatever you like, subject to agreement. The focus is on fresh, child-friendly and straightforward cooking. Your day ends at 12:00 or 13:00. The family would appreciate your help once a month on a Saturday, if possible, so that the parents can enjoy some relaxed time together. A day off to make up for this will be taken during the week. We are looking for someone who works independently, is reliable and can adapt flexibly to family life.
