A warm and child-friendly housekeeper (m/f/d) is sought for a part-time role (20 hours per week) in Düsseldorf Stockum. This young, friendly family of four lives in a beautiful, well-maintained, spacious flat with approximately 240 m² of living space and four rooms. Both parents work primarily from home. Their two children, aged 3½ and 5, attend nursery. We are looking for a caring, reliable housekeeper to provide support, who, following an induction period, will help run the household in a structured and thoughtful manner.

Your tasks:

• Basic, maintenance and visual cleaning
• Cooking
• Keep order
• Errands

This is a part-time position, with a weekly working time of 20 hours, spread over 3 to 4 days. The working day ideally begins at around 7.30 or 8.00 am. As well as cleaning the rooms thoroughly, it is important to the family that the house is kept tidy on a regular basis and with a forward-thinking approach – even in places that aren’t immediately obvious. So if you’re the sort of person who takes the initiative to clean the tops of cupboards from time to time, this is the perfect role for you.

Reliability, a thorough approach to work and a keen eye for detail are essential for this role. The family values a self-reliant, discreet yet warm personality who can fit into the daily routine without causing any disruption. This is a non-smoking household.

A small but very important part of the duties also involves cooking. This is less about elaborate dishes and more about healthy, fresh home cooking or following recipes. As the parents are very busy with work, they appreciate it when lunch is ready on time or when dinner has been pre-cooked and can be finished off in no time at all. A driving licence is not required; occasional errands can be run on foot or by bike.
