A dedicated and reliable nanny (m/f/d, 40 hours per week) is sought in Vienna for a caring and lively private household with three bright children aged 10, 5 and 8 months. The focus is on the five-year-old son, who attends nursery and would benefit from reliable supervision in the afternoons – someone who inspires him, encourages his curiosity and lovingly guides him. The youngest child is mainly looked after by his mother, whilst the older son occasionally needs help with his daily routine and encouragement with his schoolwork.

Your tasks:

• Child care services
• Homework supervision (not content-related)
• Child-friendly food preparation
• Leisure activities
• Transport services
• Travelling companion
• Pick-up from school / daycare centre
• Keep order
• Travel preparation

The care provided includes collecting the children from nursery and school, safely accompanying them to leisure activities, and ensuring they have a well-balanced afternoon. Creativity and a love of being active in the great outdoors are particularly encouraged. In addition to childcare, the role includes small, everyday tasks such as preparing simple, child-friendly snacks, taking into account any nut allergies, or lovingly laying the table.

A well-maintained children’s area, a peaceful atmosphere and treating one another with respect are integral parts of family life. A willingness to travel is also part of this – particularly between Christmas and New Year, when we spend relaxing days in the mountains, and in the summer, when we plan trips to various regions of Europe. On these trips, a trustworthy and confident chaperone is particularly essential.

The household is smoke-free; a well-groomed appearance, polite reserve and excellent manners are required. As the children are growing up in a multilingual environment, a knowledge of English is desirable. Accommodation cannot be provided, but the family will assist in finding suitable accommodation in Vienna.
