An experienced and independent housekeeper (m/f/d) (40 hours per week) is sought in Berlin-Dahlem. The couple, who run their own business, live in a modernised historic building in which the private living area, exhibition space and office are stylishly integrated. We are looking for a reliable individual who can manage this demanding environment with care, organisation and a keen eye for quality, and who will contribute to a harmonious daily routine in the long term.

Your tasks:

• Basic, maintenance and visual cleaning
• Keep order
• Furniture care
• Laundry care
• Ironing
• Purchasing
• Errands
• Stockpiling
• Coordination and supervision of service providers

The main focus of this role is the independent cleaning and upkeep of the private living areas. The couple are looking for someone with a trained eye who can handle high-quality materials and surfaces with care and expertise. The house features, amongst other things, marble, parquet flooring, Corian and lacquered furniture, all of which require a careful and experienced touch.

In addition, the role involves regular routine cleaning of the exhibition space integrated into the house and the office. Laundry, including ironing, is also part of the role. Shopping, running errands and ensuring stocks are maintained in advance round off the scope of duties. External service providers, such as window cleaners or tradespeople, will be welcomed on site and assisted during their visits. We are seeking a discreet, well-presented and responsible individual with experience in upmarket private households. Particularly important are a keen sense of order and attention to detail, a structured and independent approach to work, and a natural ability to recognise what is needed in the house at any given time. Weekend work is not required, though evening shifts are possible and will be arranged individually with you in advance. The couple would like your support during events with guests, so that a smooth workflow is ensured even in special situations. Ideally, you will have a good command of German; a basic knowledge of English is welcome. A driving licence is desirable, and having your own car may be an advantage. In addition, a current police clearance certificate will be required upon starting the role.
