A qualified carer (m/f/d) (30 hours per week) is sought in Reinbek. In a stately home, you will work as part of a team with a colleague to care for an elderly gentleman; a particularly discreet, calm and refined manner is valued just as much as reliability and warmth in everyday life.

Your tasks:

• Elderly care
• Travelling companion
• Administration of medication
• Personal care

The focus of this role is on providing empathetic support with daily routines – such as getting dressed and morning personal hygiene – and offering safe, expert assistance with all aspects of care. In addition, you will be responsible for administering medication and ensuring that procedures remain structured, clearly documented and transparent for everyone involved. As the duties in Reinbek are shared with a colleague and there are other staff members working in the household, the ability to work as part of a team is essential: you will coordinate closely, support one another and help to ensure that the senior’s daily life is organised in a harmonious and reliable manner.

A cook is already in place, so cooking is not part of your remit. This means you can focus all the more on providing personal care, companionship and a calming presence in the home. Another particularly attractive aspect is the travel support role, totalling approximately 12 weeks per year, during which you will provide discreet support to the gentleman and ensure his safety, routine and well-being whilst on the move. To travel to the place of work, you will need your own car and a valid driving licence.
