A reliable housekeeper (m/f/d) (20 hours per week) is sought in Berlin-Friedrichshain. This friendly young couple are looking for reliable and organised support to look after their well-maintained second home. If you enjoy running a home with care, a sense of responsibility and a keen eye for tidiness, the couple look forward to receiving your application.

Your tasks:

• Basic, maintenance and visual cleaning

• Laundry care
• Ironing

• Cooking

In this role, you will be responsible for organising the household independently and ensuring that all daily routines run smoothly and are planned with foresight. This includes thorough deep cleaning of the bathrooms and floors, as well as ongoing cleaning of all living areas. Laundry and ironing will also fall within your remit, ensuring a pleasant and well-maintained living environment at all times. Working hours can be arranged individually to suit your preferences and the couple’s needs. You can usually start work from 8.00 am, and your working hours can be flexibly spread over 3 or 4 days a week.

When the couple are at home, your duties will include, amongst other things, shopping. You’ll keep track of supplies and, by maintaining a well-organised system, lay the foundations for a smooth daily routine. We particularly value it when you think proactively, identify needs at an early stage and organise your work sensibly and independently. It is important to the couple that you work calmly, reliably and with a sound sense of priorities. The flat is currently occupied about half the time. During this period, you will take on the usual household tasks. During the rest of the time, when you are on site on your own, your responsibilities will also include additional tasks that make this role varied, such as cleaning the inside and outside of the VW camper van and, if necessary, taking it to the garage.

If you are on duty, the couple would be delighted if you could join them for lunch at around 12:00, which is also part of the role. We’d like simple, down-to-earth home-cooked meals made to recipe. Occasionally, you’ll help out at private events and assist with the decorations, or if friends are coming round for a barbecue, it would be great if you could help prepare the salads.

We are looking for someone who will not only provide practical support but also help to run the household with a clear overview and a sense of responsibility. If you are reliable, able to work independently, organised and proactive, and also hold a driving licence, this role would be a perfect fit for you. The couple are looking for a trustworthy assistant who thinks for themselves and will become a valuable part of their daily home life in the long term.
