A caring and active childminder/nanny (m/f/d) (40 hours per week) is sought near Winterberg. This unique position is based in a castle household in North Rhine-Westphalia, where two children aged 2 and 3 are growing up in a warm and family-oriented environment. We are looking for a young, cheerful person who enjoys supporting children in their daily lives with warmth, empathy and a keen understanding of child development.

The focus of this role is on providing loving and age-appropriate care for the two young children. We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time outdoors with children, values physical activity, and takes genuine pleasure in actively helping to shape the daily routine. The children love playing in the fresh air, so it would be great if you enjoy physical activity and like to incorporate stimulating activities into the day.

It is equally important to the family that the children receive age-appropriate support. If you proactively come up with ideas for meaningful activities that help to strengthen fine motor skills, gross motor skills and other key areas of development in a playful way, you will be a perfect fit for this environment. We are looking for someone who thinks on their feet, takes the initiative and interacts with the children with warmth, structure and a sure instinct.

As there are already two other nannies working in the household, the ability to work as part of a team is particularly important for this role. You will be joining an existing childcare team and will also work alongside the mother from time to time; she makes a conscious effort to spend plenty of time with her children and enjoys playing an active part in the family’s daily life. A harmonious working relationship, good manners, reliability and flexibility are therefore highly valued.

Due to the rural location of the workplace, a car and a driving licence are essential. If, in addition, you are open to the idea of occasionally accompanying travellers and feel at home in a special, natural setting, this role offers excellent long-term prospects.
