A child-friendly housekeeper (m/f/d) (37 hours per week) is sought in Hamburg-Poppenbüttel. This lively family, with four children aged 9, 7, 4 and 2, is looking for a reliable person who will support the family’s daily life with care, warmth and a sense of humour, and who will provide structure, a sense of security and a cheerful atmosphere.

Your tasks:

• General household organisation
• Keep order
• Cooking
• Purchasing
• Dog care
• light gardening
• occasional transport services / running errands

The focus is on the responsible organisation and upkeep of the household. You will not only be responsible for cleaning the modern house, but also for cooking healthy, child-friendly meals, looking after the laundry – including ironing – and running small errands (e.g. to the post office or the dry cleaners).

Working hours are fixed and designed to be family-friendly: Tuesday 10.00–18.30, Wednesday 11.00–17.30, Thursday and Friday 7.00–16.00, and Saturday 6 hours by arrangement.

There is also a nanny working in the household who looks after the children. The family is therefore looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, thinks on their feet, can set priorities and takes pleasure in keeping things organised in a home with lots of children. The dog is, of course, part of the family too and would appreciate some attention and a watchful eye.
