A caring, active nanny (m/f/d) (25 hours per week) is sought in Frankfurt am Main. The family has two children aged 4 and 8 and is looking for a reliable, positive and cheerful person to help out.

The role centres on providing loving care for the two children (a 4-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter). Both are lively, sporty and would like a reliable carer who enjoys being active, offers age-appropriate activities and organises varied, structured and attentive afternoons. Your working day begins at 1.30 pm with a quick morning check round the house and putting the first load of washing on. At around 3.00 pm, you will drive to the nursery and the school to collect both children on time at 3.30 pm.

It is particularly important to the family that you look after the children attentively, set boundaries in a friendly yet firm manner, and at the same time help to keep the family’s lively daily routine running smoothly with a sense of humour and composure. In addition, you will help with light housework to ensure that daily life runs smoothly. This includes keeping the playroom and children’s bedroom tidy and establishing a pleasant routine that provides noticeable relief for the parents. Light tasks such as laundry and small shopping trips, as well as running errands – for example, to the dry cleaners – are also part of the role. A domestic helper is available for deep cleaning. Your working day ends at 6.30 pm, as the family likes to have dinner together afterwards. We are looking for an independent individual who thinks proactively and can identify and take on tasks as they arise without needing detailed instructions. Knowledge of English is welcome, as the family values an open, modern lifestyle and the children attend an English-speaking school.
