A warm and flexible nanny (m/f/d) (40 hours per week) is wanted in Düsseldorf. The young, single mother is looking for a trustworthy support for herself and her 8-month-old baby – someone who will lovingly help with the day-to-day running of the family and, in an uncomplicated way, provide relief, a sense of security and structure.

The focus of this wonderful role is providing loving and reliable care for the baby. We are looking for someone who enjoys attentively supporting a young child in their daily life and who can assist the mother with warmth, thoughtfulness and flexibility. As the mother sometimes has to travel on business at very short notice, it is important that the nanny is spontaneous and willing to accompany her on these trips. It is precisely this openness and flexibility that make the role particularly varied and personal.

As well as looking after the children, light household tasks are also part of the daily routine, as far as time with the baby allows. These include, in particular, doing the laundry, running small errands, preparing meals and providing organisational support. We are looking for a nanny who thinks for herself, exudes calm and enriches the family with a natural, caring manner.

The post is a full-time role, comprising 40 hours per week. A time bank scheme is in place, as individual days may occasionally be longer due to the mother’s work commitments. Naturally, this will be compensated for with equivalent time off. This arrangement requires a high degree of flexibility and is particularly suited to candidates who are keen to embrace a lively daily routine that cannot always be planned rigidly. The mother is therefore looking for a nanny who is not tied down by family commitments and who is keen to build a close and trusting working relationship over the long term.

There are plans to move abroad in the medium term, although the future location has not yet been decided. This role also requires an open-minded and adaptable person who can envisage embarking on this journey. If you are interested, a live-in option may also be available.
