A reliable, friendly family manager (m/f/d) (20 hours per week) is sought in Hamburg-Blankenese. The family lives in a newly built villa and is looking for a warm, organised and cheerful support person to help with the family’s daily routine on two days a week, whilst ensuring a warm and welcoming home.

Your tasks:

• Supervision of craftsmen

You will be responsible for looking after the two daughters (aged 6 and 9) and running the household independently during school hours. Your working day begins at 6.45 am. You will prepare a child-friendly breakfast, pack the lunchboxes for school and ensure that everyone is ready and on time for school. A cargo bike will be provided for this purpose. Whilst the children are at school, you will carry out family and household management tasks, keep the house tidy, take care of the laundry and, where necessary, run errands such as shopping or other tasks. Equally important is an eye for tidiness and organisation, particularly in the playroom and children’s bedroom, so that the children feel comfortable and the family routine remains relaxed. A domestic helper is already in place. We’d also like you to prepare healthy, family-friendly meals that make everyday life easier and appeal to everyone’s tastes. In addition, there are minor organisational tasks, such as disposing of glass and paper, as well as coordinating and occasionally supervising tradespeople when work is due to be carried out in the house. Taking the family dog for its daily walk is also part of your daily routine. After collecting the children from school, you will spend the afternoon with them, keeping an eye on their homework and helping out where needed. Furthermore, you will create a creative, cheerful environment and organise activities suitable for their ages. The family is looking for a reliable person who works in a structured manner whilst being loving and warm-hearted.
