In Klein-Winternheim, south of Mainz, we are looking for a reliable domestic helper (m/f/d) (20 hours per week) who is warm-hearted and empathetic. The role involves working in the home of a widowed, lovely elderly gentleman who needs support, and you will be able to assist him with your experience and empathy.

Your tasks:

• Basic and visual cleaning
• general budget organisation
• Organisation
• easy fabric care
• Ironing
• light gardening tasks
• transport services, if required

The focus is on providing loving care for an elderly person’s household. Until now, his wife had been in charge of running, maintaining and cleaning the house, but following her death, the elderly gentleman, who now lives alone, is simply not familiar with the tasks involved and needs support. You will be responsible for regular cleaning, whilst also keeping an eye on seasonal and non-daily tasks. Laundry is also part of your remit, ensuring that clothes and household textiles are reliably washed and ironed and kept ready for use.

In addition, we would also appreciate your help with tasks around the house, such as light outdoor work. This includes simple tasks that help maintain the house’s well-kept appearance. What matters here is not so much „immediate action“ as a keen eye for what needs doing and a genuine enjoyment of keeping everything around the house in good order on a regular basis.

We are looking for a warm and motivated individual who approaches their work with enthusiasm and dedication. Someone who works in a structured and independent manner, is well organised, and not only identifies tasks but also carries them out with initiative and a sense of responsibility. Reliability is particularly important for running this household, as is a respectful, attentive and sensitive manner, delivered in a calm and pleasant way.
